Second Spring Music Publishing is an independent music publishing company engaged with groundbreaking artists from around the world. The company was founded in 2005 by music and film industry veteran Chris Violette.
Our goal is to set the standard for the next-generation music publishing company through unrivaled accounting transparency to its artists and partners, prescient, groundbreaking taste, and hard-fought artist development - which is where you come in.
While much of what our Street Team will do is fairly typical (help draw new 'friends' to an artist's MySpace page, post web banners, help with artists on tour, etc.), we are particularly keen to work with those of you who may be considering a career in music. While your efforts will be rewarded with free music and various merchandise, you will also be rewarded with valuable experience, free entertainment industry workshops, and career counseling. Our free workshops will be held monthly (via conference call) and be lead by Second Spring's founder and CEO, Chris Violette. Topics will span a variety of subjects including music publishing, music for film and television, music licensing, current music industry related issues, etc., and will occasionally feature special guests. These classes are reserved exclusively for those Street Team members with a rank of Corporal or higher.
